Standard sessions are 60 minutes (1 hour). This gives enough time to cover topics in depth while maintaining focus. If you prefer, we can arrange 90-minute or 2-hour intensive sessions for particularly challenging subjects. Sessions can be scheduled back-to-back if you're preparing for multiple exams.

All sessions are conducted via Microsoft Teams. We'll send you a meeting link before your session - no software installation required, it works directly in your web browser. Teams allows us to share screens, use a virtual whiteboard, and record sessions for your review. If you have a preferred platform (Zoom, Google Meet), we can accommodate that too.

Absolutely! We actively encourage students to record sessions so you can review the material later. We can also provide session recordings ourselves, along with any notes or diagrams we create during the lesson. These recordings are yours to keep and review as many times as needed before your exam.

Usually within 2-3 working days. After you submit an enquiry, we'll respond within 24 hours to understand your needs and check instructor availability. If your exam is urgent, we can often accommodate next-day or same-week sessions. We understand that exam dates can be tight, so we'll do our best to fit you in quickly.

We offer free rescheduling with 24 hours notice. Life happens - weather cancels flying lessons, work runs late, or you simply need more study time. Just let us know at least 24 hours before your scheduled session and we'll rebook at no charge. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may incur a fee, though we're understanding about genuine emergencies or sudden medical situations.

We accept payment via bank transfer or PayPal. Single sessions are paid in advance. For packages:

• 5-session package: Pay £275 upfront OR split into 2 × £140 (50% upfront, 50% after session 2)
• 10-session package: Pay £500 upfront OR split into 2 × £260 (50% upfront, 50% after session 5)

We'll send you an invoice after your enquiry with payment details. All prices shown include VAT where applicable.

No problem at all! Additional sessions can be booked at £60/hour. Most students find the 5-session package sufficient for mastering one subject, but everyone learns differently. If you realize halfway through that you need more support, we'll continue at the single-session rate. You can also upgrade to a larger package at any time and we'll credit what you've already paid.

Yes. We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee on your first session. If you're not happy with the teaching style, approach, or content after your first hour, we'll refund it completely, no questions asked. For packages, unused sessions can be refunded within 30 days of purchase (minus any completed sessions). After 30 days, remaining sessions remain valid but are non-refundable. All sessions must be used within 6 months of purchase.

Yes! All our instructors are ATPL-qualified with current or recent airline experience. This means you're learning from pilots who apply this knowledge every day in actual operations, not just teaching it from a textbook. You'll get real-world context, practical examples from the flight deck, and insights into how airlines actually operate - which makes the theory come alive and helps it stick in your memory.

Currently we're focused exclusively on PPL theory to ensure we deliver the best possible quality for students at this level. However, we're planning to expand to ATPL theory tuition in 2025. Absolutely! We offer "study buddy" sessions at £80/hour for two students (£40 each). This works best when both students are at a similar level and studying the same subject. It can actually enhance learning as you hear each other's questions and explanations. Just let us know when booking that you'd like to share the session, and we'll coordinate scheduling with both of you.

Just your existing study materials and a way to take notes! We recommend having:

• Your ground school textbook or course notes
• Practice question bank (if you have one)
• Notepad or tablet for notes
• Specific questions or topics you're struggling with

We'll provide any additional resources, diagrams, or practice questions during the session. If you don't have study materials yet, we can recommend the best ones for your needs.

Ideally, start 3-4 weeks before your exam date. This gives you time for multiple sessions, practice in between, and a final review session closer to the exam. However, we've had students pass successfully with just 1-2 weeks of intensive prep. If your exam is coming up soon, don't worry - contact us anyway and we'll do our best to fit you in. Last-minute cramming isn't ideal, but focused tuition can still make a significant difference.

Students who complete a full subject package (5+ sessions) have a 90%+ first-time pass rate. This is significantly higher than the UK average for PPL exams. Of course, success also depends on your own study between sessions and practice with question banks. We'll give you a realistic assessment of your readiness and recommend additional sessions if we think you need more preparation time. Our goal is to get you to pass first time, not just take your money.

Absolutely - in fact, this is where 1-to-1 tuition really shines. We'll analyze exactly what went wrong: Was it time pressure? Misunderstanding specific topics? Exam technique? We'll review your exam results (if you have them), identify your weak spots, and create a targeted study plan to address those specific areas. Many students find they were close to passing but just needed a few key concepts explained differently. Second attempts with focused tuition have an even higher success rate.
